My video problems on Fedora Core 3

As I've said I have a nVidia card and I have described my problem in this Fedoraforum.org post:

I have also tried to install the 2nd to latest nVidia driver (6111) to no avail. It said that it couldn't load kernel module 'nvidia.ko' and specify a kernel source path. I have also tried installing my kernel source rpm as directed in the Fedora Core 3 Release Notes but it didn't help.

I've got Fedora Core 3 installed on my Compaq Presario R3000 laptop.

However I am having a problem getting 3D working on my laptop's GeForce4MX 420 32M Go.
I don't know what my problem is exactly but I'll do my best to describe it.
